"We were looking into whether to knock down and rebuild, or refurbish and extend our 1950's brick cottage. Our initial contact with Greg from Archinspect was to help us make this decision. Having established that the existing structure was sound and worth keeping, Greg listened to our requirements and came up with a design that not only satisfied all the things we told him that we were looking to achieve, but which also had elements we hadn't talked about but which were clearly just right for us. He did a great job of "reading between the lines" of what we'd discussed to understand not just what we'd already captured ourselves, but also things which we hadn't thought of yet.
This was the first time that we had undertaken a project like this and Greg helped us through the process of selecting a builder who was not only available, but also up to the challenges of some interesting and innovative designs. He also handled everything to do with the development application and Council approvals. Greg was extremely flexible in his approach and was there when I needed his advice and assistance throughout the build, but happy to leave the project management up to me to the extent that I wanted to remain "hands on" during the build.
